Is it just me or do you feel like once school starts back up we are nearing the end of the year? For me, 2025 is closing soon. We have a busy wedding season starting up here in Florida with the holidays quickly approaching so it is nearing time to say goodbye bye to 2025. Having said that, I wanted to focus on the wedding trends of 2025 here at Lavender on the Lake. Wait, what’s that you say? It’s pumpkin season?? Each fall I’ll make any excuse to bake my homemade pumpkin chocolate chips squares or to cozy up with a pumpkin spice latte.

Sorry…I digress!

I am already feeling nostalgic with the end of 2025 being several months away. Reflection has always been something that I have done throughout my life. Therefore, I decided that my next blog would be about the 2025 wedding trends that we have seen so far at Lavender on the Lake.

Black and White Weddings Parties

First of all, I wanted to start with a very common color scheme. Many of our brides opted for a classic black and white wedding for their wedding party. I absolutely LOVE this timeless look.

Even the floral was simple with white roses and white floating candles.

Bridal Dress Change

Also, why wear the same dress all evening? So many of our brides changed into a flirty, shorter dress. After all, it is YOUR wedding so switch things up! This allows ease for dancing as well as a fun change for photos.

Floral Bridal gowns

Isn’t it super fun when brides choose to allow their bridesmaids to not only wear various dresses that fits each particular body shape AND they switch the color or pattern up? These bridesmaids flourished- sorry, I couldn’t help myself!- in these whimsical, floral dresses.

Wedding Content Creators

We have had several couples who hire a content creator who is someone who works behind the scenes to capture the moments that may otherwise be missed. It’s a great way to gain access to many of the behind the scenes.

Wedding Trending Flower Boxes

Next up, there were a few weddings had these beautiful flower boxes at the front door to welcome their guests for the wedding.

Private Last Dance

Finally, saving the best for last, couples are choosing to share one final last dance. This one has been trending for several years now; it’s a lovely way for the couple to grab a few moments together without all eyes on them.
