Many of our couples who tour think that they want to host a big wedding here at Lavender on the Lake. Our 10,000 square foot luxury barn sure has the space! However, once some couples get into planning the weddings of their dreams, they oftentimes scale their guest count back. There does seem to be a trend of intimate weddings lately, and despite the size of our venue, we do have great options for smaller numbers. (You can look here to see our spaces!)

Therefore, we recommend our couples who are planning a smaller wedding to book a mid week wedding option. This is considerably less money than the weekend option. In addition, smaller numbers mean less money spent on catering and other expenses. More money can be put into the details, a honeymoon, or even savings towards your future together.

We also have an excellent indoor option as a rainy day and/or hot Florida day which lends itself well for smaller weddings.

I can’t tell you how heartbroken I feel when loads of lovely flowers are being dumped into the trash bins at the end of the evening. I have been known to go through them to save what I could to take to some ladies in my Saint Cloud and Lake Nona neighborhoods.
